Abstract: Effective strategies are commonly acknowledged as being of the utmost significance in second language acquisition. However, it is never an easy undertaking to reach a certain level of expertise in using them when speaking English. An investigation into students' attitudes toward approaches implemented to improve speaking skills for English-majoring juniors at Tay Do University was conducted as a result of this. It attempts to discover a few techniques that Tay Do University third-year English majors can employ while putting such techniques to use with speaking abilities. 70 students in the 15th grade were chosen to participate in the study. To examine gathered data, two primary research instruments are questionnaires and interviews. The study's conclusions show that third-year English majors used a variety of strategies to learn English while maintaining a positive attitude. These approaches included the use of English speaking apps, English clubs, the shadowing method, pictures or games, and participant psychology. Then, proposals for prospective applications and additional study in related fields are put forth.
